For the hardcore trainer, this place is home to the Battle Maison, an adaptation from the facility in the Kalos region that serves as the primary place of interest here and the only Professional Battle Park currently operational in the region, as the Battle Frontier is still under heavy repairs. For those wanting to sit back and relax, though, this resort still has a wonderful climate and is sunny all-year round, making its beaches very popular among tourists. It has even recently become the battling grounds of some of the most powerful type specialists in the world, and while they might not have an official status like a Gym Leader, they are more than qualified as experts in their type of choice and can certainly provide a vigorous test to see whether trainers are up to handling the challenges the Battle Maison has to offer. Combine this with Move Tutor shacks on the beach, exotic wild Pokémon and even a Pokémon Day Care Center for raising powerful combatants from Eggs, and it can easily be seen that the Battle Resort’s name is more than a simple reference to a vacation spot for the best trainers in the world.
