Question: What do you think would be a good sixth member for a team consisting of a Cryogonal, a Tropius, a (hopefully) soon-to-evolve Mienfoo, a Ferrothorn, and a several-century-old Sigilyph? The guy in question prefers stronger, more dangerous Pokemon, but he wouldn't be opposed to something tiny. He definitely prefers unusual creatures.

A Water-type would definitely be best to deal with a severe weakness to Fire on his team.  A powerful offensive fighter lie Darmanitan or Magmortar would be perfect for his team, since most of his Pokémon lack extremely high offensive stats.

Okay, thanks. What about a Swampert?
Any others off the top of your head that might work?
Some of the extinct Pokemon look like they might be good, but unless somebody's going around saying "Here, take this and tell us how it works out" with extinct Pokemon, that's not gonna happen.

Swampert would work great, especially if he got a Mega Stone to go with it.

Fossil Pokemon may not be the best choice here, as their Rock-type vulnerabilities could cripple their defenvie abilities when serving as a defense against Fire-types.

He's considering a Gastrodon, partly just because he likes how they look.

There is one thing I'd like to discuss with you: Pokemorphs.

What I do know is that there exist two kinds of Pokemorphs:

First are the ones that transform between human and Pokemon forms, but in either form there are characteristics which reveal what they are.

Then are the ones that look exactly like crossing of Pokemon and human.

I also like to clarify that humans were evolved from Pokemon. I don't have better source, but it does give very good direction.

This is very difficult question, but how many Pokemorphs are there? No doubt they can blend into the societies of both humans and Pokemon easily.

This subject is still highly controversial, and in the canon that I work with, they do not exist in the second form that you list.

Though I admit that I am open to a world where they existand would not mind partaking in such a strange world myself, if only for personal reasons...

Well, like I said, they are probably blending with the both societies too well. But maybe you have a fortunate chance some day. No one knows!
