Solrock (the Meteorite Pokémon) is an uncommon Rock/Psychic-type Pokémon found among meteor craters within the Hoenn, Unova, Kalos and Galar regions as well as the Sinnoh region on rare occasions. Though utterly bizarre in appearance and mysterious in regards to origin, Solrock are fascinating creatures that easily take the cake when it comes to bringing the best of the non-Rock-type abilities to the forefront of Rock-type battles. They might not have the skills needed to put up much of a fight against other fully-evolved Pokémon, but at the very least, these beasts can easily make life a nightmare for any creature foolish enough to fight them without some serious eye protection!
Solrock and Lunatone are mysterious creatures whose origins are both complicated and relatively ambiguous, but at the moment, all that can be said is that they obviously have extraterrestrial connections. Both Solrock and Lunatone were first discovered nearly 60 years ago within an impact crater in the Hoenn region and have since been discovered near meteor craters across the planet (so much, in fact, that they are now being used to seriously determine whether or not a particular crater is extraterrestrial or volcanic in origin); however, this is about all that can be said about them in terms of their actual history on Earth. Both of these creatures seem to hold strong connections with a vital component of the Earth's extragalactic neighbors and consequently base their powers off of it. For Lunatone, it is the moon and their powers are designed to bring out the best of their natural Psychic-type powers, learning the Moonlight, Psyshock, Hypnosis, Future Sight, Magic Room and Moonblast moves; for Solrock, it is the sun, and their powers are designed to harness the pure power of the sun as a direct weapon in battle, learning the Morning Sun, Solar Beam, Zen Headbutt, Wonder Room and Flare Blitz moves. Despite their differences, however, Solrock and Lunatone are both speculated to come from outer space and have come to Earth hidden on or within impacting objects, but considering their rocky bodies are only designed to put up a resistance against relatively high temperatures and would likely be destroyed in the ensuing impact, it is unlikely that they are little more than Earth-born curiosities; still, the truth behind their origins in uncertain.
Solrock draw their powers from the light given off by the sun and thus technically rely on the same source of power as Lunatone; the primary difference is that direct sunlight has an invigorating effect on these creatures, in turn allowing them to utilize their physical and special attacks to their fullest. Like Lunatone, Solrock are incapable of walking and instead float through the air freely using telekinesis, a trait that gives them the Levitate Ability and thankfully removes one of their biggest natural weaknesses in turn. Despite being Psychic-type in nature, Solrock generally rely very little on their natural psychic abilities in battle and instead choose to utilize the other special powers they have access to that are considered beyond abnormal for a Rock-type, particularly the ability to naturally learn the Fire Spin and Solar Beam attacks. These powers are due to their use of natural sunlight to fuel their powers and as a result they are, as far as anyone can tell, literally solar-powered in every sense of the phrase. In the daytime, Solrock will often gather in groups and point their faces straight into the sun in order to absorb as much sunlight as possible and minimize the amount lost among individual group members. In battle, Solrock are actually able to use their own stored solar energy as a direct weapon by rapidly converting thermal energy within them into light energy and releasing it as a massive blast of bright light, in turn blinding nearly anything around them within a fifty-foot radius. Moreover, Solrock are surprisingly more adaptable than Lunatone in terms of battle strategies as they are actually able to utilize what little psychic power they have to see the thoughts of their opponent and predict their next move in battle; this ability isn't exactly perfect when the opposition doesn't think much or is otherwise too fast-moving to react to, but it nonetheless makes Solrock a viable contender in battle in many cases.
Despite not being able to hit as hard as other Psychic-types in battle, Solrock are versatile creatures that can certainly make life difficult for any traditional Grass or Water-type specialist looking to exploit their natural weaknesses. They might not be able to hit the peaks of power reached by their counterpart, Lunatone, but considering they never wane either, Solrock can be great fighters to work with if balance if the preferred way to go in battle. If anything else, you can at least spring a nasty surprise on any beast in battle that has problems doing much of anything without their sight; just make sure that your opponent isn't naturally blind or otherwise immune to bright light, or you might have to rely on some future-seeing skills more than usual to see you through the thick of battle!

To us, it sounds like a reverberating cosmic echo of sorts, distorting the air around it to the point where it can be heard clearly from miles away, and playing any frequency we can imagine at once. That is, that's the sound it makes if it's not speaking.
Arceus can speak to us, yes, but in a very strange manner. Its telepathic voice sounds to us li

Solrock and Espeon both seem to be among select Pokemon able to predict their opponent's moves. Espeon uses their fur to do that [why?], but how can Solrock?
